LEP launches second round of bidding to its £120m Further Education Capital Investment Fund
26 November 2014
Following a successful first round of bids to the London Enterprise Panel’s £120m Further Education Capital Investment Fund, we have today (26 November 2014) launched a second round of bidding to the Fund.
Expressions of Interest (Round 2) should be submitted to the LEP by 5pm on 19 January 2015.
Under the programme, the LEP can make £120m capital funds available for capital investment in colleges and work-based learning institutions in 2015/16 and 2016/17. The first round of bidding saw 27 Expressions of Interest worth in excess of £61m grant value brought forward from the Further Education (FE) sector.
Further applications are now invited from London’s FE institutions (colleges and registered private providers) for strong and innovative proposals that will meet the capital’s skills needs. In particular, proposals that will deliver the highest levels of skills progression, job outcomes and growth in London. The FE Capital Investment Fund Prospectus sets out the LEP’s vision, priorities and requirements for FE Capital proposals and applications should be made on the associated Expressions of Interest Form.
See our dedicated ‘Further Education Capital Investment Fund’ page for further details on the application process.
