European Funding Strategy 2014-20
The 2014-20 London European Structural & Investment Funds (ESIF) Strategy for London sets out the key areas for European Social Fund (ESF) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) investment against the LEP’s four Jobs and Growth Plan priorities: Skills and Employment, SME Competitiveness, Science and Technology and Infrastructure. You can find details of the consultation process in the ESIF Strategy Consultation Report. It was submitted to Government in January 2014.
In February 2016 the Strategy was re-submitted at Government’s request. Updated features include financial allocations for each Priority Axis, output targets and tables setting out alignment with the ESF and ERDF Operational Programmes. It is against the ESF and ERDF Operational Programmes that all activity funded must ultimately align.
